Our Process
1. Consultation
We begin with a consultation - either on-site or remotely - focused on listening to your ideas and dreams for your new garden. During this meeting, we assess the project scope and identify any council requirements, building regulations, and engineering considerations.
This consultation provides valuable insights that allow us to tailor your landscape to your needs and prepare a written design quotation for your acceptance.
2. Concept
Our designers craft a detailed concept plan that captures your unique landscape vision, including the overall layout, hard landscaping materials, and planting design.
The Concept Plan is presented in person and includes:
General plant selections
Lighting plan
Overall landscape layout
Materials and colors
Level changes
Screening and retaining walls
Concept Plans vary based on property size and design complexity.
3. Working Drawings
In this stage, we refine the conceptual design based on your feedback to create detailed working drawings. Your discussions with our designer ensure the landscape meets your lifestyle and practical needs.
The documentation includes precise drawings with annotations and material specifications for all hardscape elements, along with supplier details for materials, plants and colours.
Once completed, the Working Drawings will be sent to you, allowing you to obtain quotes for the landscape work, or we can manage the process for you.
4. Extended Services
We aim to make your experience from concept sketch to handover seamless and relaxed. Our team can manage the entire process, ensuring every detail is overseen by our experienced designers and experts.
Optional Services Include:
Permit Applications and Engineering
If needed, we can handle all council dealings for you. Our team prepares and submits Planning and Building Permit applications, liaising with the council on your behalf.Site Visits
While we prefer to manage the entire project, you may choose to have our designer conduct one or two site visits to ensure everything runs smoothly.
