Barwon Heads

Sitting on one of the most sought after stretches of coastline on the Bellarine peninsula, this Barwon Heads home is the epitome of coast gardening. From planting to hardscapes all elements are designed to be able to handle the rugged and wonderful nature of the coast.

One of our most ambitious and complex sites to date, the brief included a large seawall that had to cope with king tides, a jetty and the inevitable ingress of seawater. Striking the balance between letting the homeowner see the stunning views but limiting the views back into the home was key. The private garden with pool and spa, alfresco kitchen and dining area was the perfect antidote to those epic sea views, providing the illusion of seclusion in the heart of the beach.
