Latin for gold, Aurum is climate conscious, glamorous and grounded in nature. Discover all the elements and the suppliers that brought this design to life.

Our planting design for Aurum has a major focus on drought tolerance. Almost all of our plant selections can handle long periods of dry conditions. That doesn't mean the garden has to be just natives. In fact, our aim was to bring together natives, Mediterranean species and succulents to show how these varied plant styles can be fused together to create something beautiful. We want to use the bold foliage of Agaves next to the soft form of Lomandras or the silver foliage of Teucrium against the dark green of rhaphiolepis. This is not a 'native', 'Mediterranean' or 'arid' garden. It's an innovative fusion of all these styles.
